Shipping and Returns

Customer satisfaction is our #1 priority, so we have a very generous 2 day no-questions-asked return policy on most products. Please read the full policy below. 

SHIPPING POLICY (For orders shipped within INDIA) 

  1. We offer free shipping on all orders. 
  2. Cash on Delivery (COD) is available within India on orders below Rs 10,000/-. 
  3. It usually takes 5-7 working days to dispatch your product. Customized orders can take additional 3-5 working days. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive tracking information via email and SMS. 
  4. Pre-order items may take 15-25 days for delivery as they are made on order.  

RETURN POLICY (For orders shipped within INDIA) 

  1. We have a generous 2 day no-questions-asked return policy. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, we will take it back. 
  2. Please initiate returns via our returns center within 2 days (48 hours) from the date of receiving the product. Return request will not be accepted through any other medium.   
  3. We will arrange for a courier to pick up the merchandise from your home. ETHNOS will bear the cost of return shipping. In rare cases that our courier cannot pickup from your address, the customer will be responsible for shipping the product to our warehouse. 
  4. Refund will be processed in the form of store credit that can be used for future purchases. The store credit will have validity of 1 year. Incase the store credit is not used in 1 year, it will be expired and can not be renewed.
  5. Store credit will be issued for the full product price paid by the customer. Cash on Delivery (COD) charges are non-refundable. 
  6. Please allow 3-5 business days after the product is received back to our warehouse in Delhi for processing of store credit.

Apart from condition reserved herein above, the following products shall not be eligible for return or exchange viz:

  • Any product that exhibits physical damage to the product or is not in the original condition
  • If the product is customized for you (e.g - lehenga with custom stitching or sarees with fall & edging, stitched blouses, etc)
  • Products that are made to order (labelled as pre-order) are not eligible for return / exchange either. This is because these products are uniquely produced on-demand.  
  • 100% Pure Silk Sarees & Dupattas are not eligible for return. These are unique handwoven pieces that are produced on demand.  
  • Multiple returns from the same customer are also not accepted within a short time frame. E.g - customers that order 3+ products within a month, only up to 30% of the total order value can be returned or exchanged. This clause is designed to prevent non-serious customers from trying out multiple products and abusing our generous return policy.
  • Products under FINAL SALE are non-returnable.
  • Orders placed using store credit (either part or in full) are not eligible for return or exchange.
  • Orders placed using store credit (either part of in full) are not eligible for any discounts.

    SHIPPING POLICY (For International Orders - USA, UK, Canada, etc) 

    1. International shipping rates vary by country and by product weight. Please add items to your cart to see shipping charges.   
    2. We ship international orders using DHL / UPS / FedEx
    3. Custom and Import duty (for EU countries) is the responsibility of the customer. 
    4. It takes 15-20 working days for us to process and dispatch international orders. Please allow an extra 5-7 working days for custom stitching orders.
    RETURN POLICY  (For International Orders - USA, UK, Canada, etc)

    How soon will I get my Store Credit?

    Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. Once your item is inspected and approved, we will send your credit note (credit notes are issued on your registered email address). Please note, Ethnos reserves the final right to refuse or accept a return or exchange. All disputes are subject to Delhi Jurisdiction only 

    How to use the Store Credit?

    Once you receive the credit note code from us, you can apply it on our website at the checkout page, after the checkout page, you have to apply the credit note code in the ‘COUPON CODE’ section and click on ‘APPLY’. You will see the discount code will immediately be reflected and the amount will be deducted in the total as per your given discount amount. Please note that the full amount of store credit is to be used at once. If there are any issues in using the credit note code, please contact our customer care team and they will be of assistance. Store credit once expired, can not be renewed. Please use it within the time frame.

    What about lost shipments?

    Please note that Ethnos is not responsible for shipments lost on transit. We use top tier shipping companies including FedEx, Delhivery and BlueDart to ensure reliable and fast deliveries worldwide.
